Ghana’s Black Maidens will look to return to winning ways when they take on Togo in their next Group B fixture at the WAFU-B U17 Girls’ Cup.
The Black Maidens suffered a 4–2 defeat to Nigeria in their second match of the competition, bringing an end to their perfect start after they opened their campaign with a convincing 4–0 victory over Burkina Faso.
Despite the setback against Nigeria, Ghana will have an opportunity to respond strongly when they face Togo on Monday, September 21.
The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 6:00pm, with the Black Maidens expected to fight for a positive result as they continue their quest for progress in the regional tournament.
Ghana will be hoping to build on their opening victory over Burkina Faso and put the disappointment of the Nigeria defeat behind them with a strong performance against Togo.
