Algerian national team forward Adel Bourbaa expressed his great joy at being part of “Les Verts” training camp for the first time, in preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Adel Bourbaa was called up to the Under-23 national team roster during the current international break. National team coach Ibrahim Hamdani then called on him to replace Nabil Ben Taleb, who was injured during the senior team’s training camp.
The midfielder for French club Le Mans said that his call-up to the national team had been a long-held dream. He praised the atmosphere within the group and the warm welcome he received from the coaching staff and players.
Adel Bourbaa stated: “For me, things are going excellently; it’s a dream come true, praise be to God. I’ve always dreamed of this, and today, praise be to God, I’ve been able to make it happen.”
He continued, saying: “Everyone is wonderful; the staff welcomed me warmly, and so did the players… I’m happy to be here, and we’ll give it our all for our country, as always, and keep working.”
