Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has highlighted the attacking qualities of both Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash.
Queiroz acknowledged the strength of the Ivorian side, describing them as a team blessed with power, creativity and individual skill, while also noting their preference for an attacking style of football.
“Ivory Coast have players with a lot of power, creativity, and skill, who like to play attacking football,” Queiroz said.
The Portuguese coach, however, believes Ghana possess similar qualities and will look to impose their own attacking identity when the two West African giants meet.
“I can say the same thing about these qualities for Ghana,” he added.
The comments underline the competitive nature of the encounter, with both sides expected to rely on their attacking talent as they begin their campaign in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
