Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper coach Daniel Gaspar has praised the national team’s goalkeeping department, describing the current group as the best in Africa.
Gaspar highlighted the quality within the Black Stars camp, insisting that Ghana have three outstanding goalkeepers capable of competing at the highest level.
“We have three outstanding goalkeepers. In my opinion, it is the best goalkeeping group in Africa,” Gaspar said.
The Portuguese coach’s comments underline the competition for the goalkeeping position as Ghana continue their preparations for the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
With several goalkeepers pushing for selection, Gaspar believes the depth available to the Black Stars provides the technical team with strong options as the team navigates its upcoming international assignments.
His assessment represents a strong endorsement of Ghana’s goalkeeping department and the quality available to head coach Carlos Queiroz.
