The Moroccan national soccer team returned home early Wednesday morning from South Africa, following their second-round match against Lesotho, which the Atlas Lions won 2β0.
The plane carrying the delegation landed at Rabat-SalΓ© Airport around 5:30 a.m., after a flight lasting approximately 12 hours, which included a stopover in the Cameroonian city of Douala to refuel before continuing on to Morocco.
Upon arrival in SalΓ©, the national team players took some time to rest and recover, given the length of the trip and the fatigue it caused.
The team is expected to resume preparations this evening at the Mohammed VI Football Complex with a light training session focused on physical recovery and shaking off the effects of travel.
