Algeria: Two Players Withdraw from Training Camp

Injured during recent matches against Zambia and Burundi, the two national team players, Anis Hadj-Moussa and Adem Zorgane, are suffering from injuries sustained during play.

The national team’s medical staff decided not to take any risks regarding their recovery. This double blow is forcing the head coach to revise his tactical plans for the final friendly match scheduled as part of this international tournament.

As rising stars and valuable assets in the Fennecs rotation, their absence deprives the team of offensive impact and control in midfield.

Further medical tests conducted on site confirmed that it would be unsafe to field them.

Now released from national team duty, the two players will return to their respective clubs to immediately begin their treatment protocols.
