Port City FC produced a strong attacking display to secure a 3-1 victory over Bechem United at the Daasebre Boamah Darko II Park in the Ghana Premier League.
Port City took the lead in the 17th minute when Hamza Zakari broke the deadlock, giving the hosts a deserved early advantage.
They doubled their lead in the 34th minute through Owusu Ansah, who finished clinically to put Port City 2-0 ahead before the break.
Bechem United responded quickly after the interval, with Francis Acquah pulling one back in the 52nd minute to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
However, Port City restored their two-goal cushion just three minutes later. Owusu Ansah struck again in the 55th minute to complete his brace and make it 3-1.
Bechem United struggled to find another response as Port City maintained control to see out the game and claim all three points.
The victory further strengthens Port City FC’s position near the top of the Ghana Premier League table, while Bechem United remain in the middle of the standings after another difficult outing.
