The Zambia Under-17 Women National Team have left for a pre-World Cup camp in Morocco where they will set up base in Rabat.
Coach Carol Kanyemba’s princesses left aboard an Air Link at 14h20 and will have a connecting flight in Johannesburg enroute to Rabat via Paris.
The Copper Princesses will play China on 9 October in an international friendly match with another game on the cards before the commencement of the tournament. Zambia is in Group D at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, where they will face Japan, France and Venezuela.
The tournament will be staged in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November.
