Simba SC are expected to learn today the final decision on the venue for their first-leg second-round qualifying match against Equatorial Guinea’s 15 de Agosto in the CAF Champions League.
Cameroon was initially proposed as the venue for the encounter. However, reports suggest both clubs are now open to an alternative arrangement that would see the two legs played at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Simba have reportedly not yet made accommodation or training ground arrangements in Cameroon, adding uncertainty to the initial plan. Senior club official Magori is said to be working behind the scenes to find a solution acceptable to both sides.
Simba supporters are eagerly awaiting the final announcement, which is expected later today. The decision will determine where the Tanzanian giants begin their quest to advance in Africa’s premier club competition.
