Anis Hadj Moussa Shines as Feyenoord Edge Como in Five-Goal Champions League Thriller

Algerian international Anis Hadj Moussa delivered a decisive performance as Feyenoord secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Italian side Como 1907 in the UEFA Champions League at De Kuip.

The winger was instrumental in Feyenoord’s comeback, scoring once and playing a key role in the Dutch side’s third goal to help them overcome a determined Como team.

Feyenoord initially faced a setback when Como took the lead through Senegalese forward Assane Diao in the 18th minute. However, Gjivai Zechiël restored parity for the hosts before Hadj Moussa took centre stage in the second half.

The Algerian winger put Feyenoord ahead in the 52nd minute after connecting with a pass from halftime substitute Gaoussou Diarra. Showing composure in front of goal, Hadj Moussa fired a precise finish into the near post, leaving Como goalkeeper Robert Sánchez with little chance.

He continued to trouble Como’s defence as Feyenoord searched for breathing space. In the 80th minute, his curling effort was brilliantly diverted onto the post by Sánchez.

Hadj Moussa remained involved in the decisive moment shortly afterwards. His powerful attempt struck Como defender Jacobo Ramón before rebounding off Sánchez and crossing the goal line for an own goal, extending Feyenoord’s advantage to 3-1.

Hadj Moussa was substituted in stoppage time to a warm reception from the home supporters after an influential display that underlined his attacking quality and growing importance to the Dutch side.

His goal and involvement in the third strike proved crucial as Feyenoord secured a memorable Champions League victory, with the Algerian international emerging as one of the standout performers of the night.
