FC AshantiGold 04 head coach Karim Zito has expressed satisfaction with his side’s 1-1 draw against Asante Kotoko, despite lamenting missed opportunities in the Ghana Premier League encounter.
Zito believes his team created enough chances to secure victory but was frustrated by the impressive performance of Kotoko’s goalkeeper, who made crucial saves to keep his side in the game.
“We had a lot of opportunities, but their goalkeeper was at his best. In the first half, we took it, and in the second half, we shared it,” Zito said.
The experienced coach acknowledged that both teams had their moments, describing the final score as a fair reflection of the contest. Despite missing out on all three points, Zito was pleased that AshantiGold avoided defeat against the Porcupine Warriors.
