Burkina Faso: Theodore Kafando Applauds Kadiogo Athletes

Following the Faso Athletics Cup, the president of the Kadiogo Athletics League, Theodore Kafando, congratulated the athletes from his region for their dedication and performances.

Kadiogo finished in second place in the national overall standings with a total of 6,945 points, including 3,402 in the women’s division and 3,543 in the men’s division.

Despite challenging circumstances notably marked by several clubs releasing their athletes before the end of the competition the Kadiogo representatives showed determination and fighting spirit in defending their region’s colors.

Theodore Kafando also expressed his gratitude to the members of his executive board, particularly Vice President Bertrand Zoungrana for his dedication, as well as Technical Director Lassane Relwende Zongo for the quality of the technical work accomplished.

In the club and event rankings, the ACB placed fifth nationally in the long jump with 906 points. JACO took sixth place in the same event with 898 points.

ASP finished seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with 893 points, while MSC ranked eighth in the long jump with 890 points.

This second-place national finish is a testament to the collective efforts of the athletes and coaches at Kadiogo.

In offering his congratulations, Theodore Kafando paid tribute to everyone who contributed to this result and to the promotion of track and field in the region.
