Nigeria’s absence from the 2026 World Cup remains a bitter pill to swallow for its stars, starting with Victor Osimhen.
When asked about this huge disappointment, the Super Eagles star forward did not hide his frustration over this latest consecutive failure for his generation.
“I feel bad about not playing in the World Cup. This is the second time in a row. I was talking about it with the other guys, and they feel the same way, but that’s life we’re moving on.”
Despite the pain he shares with his teammates, the player is now calling for everyone to look to the future and rebuild a national team capable of bouncing back from this terrible disappointment.
