Gonçalo Ramos joins AC Milan in record transfer

Gonçalo Ramos has officially left Paris Saint-Germain to join AC Milan in one of the biggest transfers of the summer. The Portuguese striker signed a contract until June 2031 after spending three seasons in the French capital. AC Milan agreed to pay €65 million, with an additional €5 million in bonuses, making Ramos the most expensive signing in the club’s history.

Despite spending much of his time as a substitute under Luis Enrique, Gonçalo Ramos made a significant impact whenever he stepped onto the pitch. The former Benfica forward scored 45 goals and provided 10 assists in 131 appearances across all competitions, helping PSG win 12 trophies, including back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles. His professionalism and ability to deliver crucial goals earned him the respect of teammates and supporters alike.

AC Milan sees Gonçalo Ramos as the striker capable of leading its new project under compatriot Ruben Amorim. After several unsuccessful attempts to solve the number nine position, the Rossoneri have invested heavily in the 25-year-old Portuguese international. Paris Saint-Germain also leaves the deal satisfied after recovering its initial investment, while Milan hopes its record signing will help return the club to the top of Italian and European football.
