Ernest Poku speaks out on his season at Leverkusen

Ernest Poku, a player of Ghanaian descent, spoke to VoetbalPrimeur about the end of the season at Leverkusen following the friendly match between the Dutch U-21 team and Belgium’s U-21 team.

The 22-year-old winger has already scored a few goals for Leverkusen. Poku still has clear goals in mind.

“For now, I just want to play as much as possible, get as much playing time as I can, score goals, and set up assists.”

“The ideal scenario would be to finish in the top four with the team so we can compete in the Champions League next season.”

Leverkusen currently sits in sixth place in the Bundesliga.
