GPL: Hearts of Oak’s Biggest Priority Is Stadium Ownership, Not Coaching Changes – Julius Emunah

Hearts of Oak Managing Director has outlined an ambitious long-term vision for the club, insisting that the Phobians’ greatest challenge is not who coaches the team or who wears the famous rainbow jersey, but securing a permanent home.

According to the club Managing Director, Hearts of Oak must focus on owning a stadium if they are to build a sustainable future, even if the journey requires significant sacrifice.

“Hearts of Oak’s biggest problem and vision is not who coaches Hearts, nor who plays for Hearts, but to own a place—a stadium of our own,” the MD said. “Hearts of Oak will have to go through painful processes to achieve it.”

The comments come as the club continues to pursue long-term structural reforms aimed at restoring Hearts of Oak to the summit of Ghanaian and African football.

The MD stressed that infrastructure development remains a key pillar of the club’s strategic plan, arguing that a permanent home would provide the foundation for sustained sporting and commercial success.

His remarks signal a shift in focus from short-term results on the pitch to building lasting institutional stability for one of Ghana’s most successful football clubs.
