South Africa : Jayden Adams’ girlfriend breaks silence after tragedy

South African football continues to mourn the tragic death of Jayden Adams. The 25-year-old midfielder, regarded as one of the country’s brightest talents and a key player for Mamelodi Sundowns, died just weeks after representing Bafana Bafana on the international stage.

Football authorities and clubs have since paid tribute to the young star, while the exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. Although several South African media outlets have mentioned a possible suicide, no official confirmation has been released.

Among the many tributes, the most emotional came from his partner, Aqueelah Chloe Adendorf, who shared a heartbreaking message on Instagram. “There are no words to describe the pain I feel. Rest in peace, my love. Thank you for every memory, every laugh, every hug, and every moment we shared. You were not only the love of my life, but also my biggest supporter and my best friend.”

She continued with an equally moving farewell: “A part of my heart went with you, and I will carry your love with me forever. Until we meet again, I will miss you every single day. Rest in peace, my angel. I love you forever and always.” Her words have deeply touched supporters, who continue to express their condolences as South African football grieves the loss of one of its most promising players.
