Black Stars defender Alexander Djiku has opened up about his growing responsibility within the national team, emphasizing his commitment to guiding the next generation while still performing at the highest level.
The experienced centre-back, who has become a steady figure in Ghana’s defensive line in recent years, revealed that mentorship has become a key part of his role in the squad. With a wave of younger talents emerging, Djiku says he is intentional about sharing knowledge and setting standards both on and off the pitch.
“I try to pass on my experience to the young players coming through,” he said. “I always give my best and show what I can do.”
