A breakout star of the 2026 World Cup, Ayyoub Bouaddi continues to attract the attention of Europe’s top clubs.
At just 18 years old, the LOSC midfielder is now among the young talents being closely monitored by Manchester City, which has stepped up its efforts to contact him in recent weeks.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City officials are in direct talks with their counterparts in Lille to evaluate the terms of a potential transfer for the Moroccan international.
The Citizens are also reported to have begun talks with the player, who remains under contract with LOSC through June 2029.
Despite this growing interest, Lille wants to keep Bouaddi for the 2026–2027 season and may favor a scenario that allows the young midfielder to stay in the North for another season on loan.
