The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has reportedly stepped up its efforts to recruit Shaqueel van Persie.
According to reports from @11LionsNL, Moroccan officials have spoken directly with the young forward to outline the Atlas Lions strategic vision and long-term sports plan.
Eligible to play for Morocco, the son of Dutch legend Robin van Persie is high on the FRMF’s list.
This move is in line with Morocco’s ongoing policy of convincing top dual-nationality talents to choose the national team.
For now, the player himself has not yet made a decision. While considering Morocco’s arguments, Shaqueel van Persie is carefully weighing his various international options before making his final decision.
