Sofiane Boufal is not expected to join Renaissance Sportive de Berkane anytime soon, with no talks currently underway between the Moroccan international and the club.
While reports had suggested a possible deal between the Lion of the Atlas and the Botola runner-up, a source close to the player denied these rumors to Le360sport.
No contact is said to have taken place between the two parties. Furthermore, the 32-year-old Moroccan has reportedly not received any offers from any other Botola club.
Having been without a club since the end of his stint with Le Havre, Boufal is therefore still waiting for a new destination.
