Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club have completed the signing of midfielder Blessing Kwabena Dwamena as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
The Mauves have secured the services of the talented central midfielder on a three-year contract, with the club expressing confidence in his potential to make an impact at the Tarkwa based outfit.
Dwamena joins Medeama after spending three years with Sunyani Aston Villa, where he developed his game and established himself as one of the club’s promising young talents.
“Medeama Sporting Club is delighted to announce the signing of talented central midfielder Blessing Kwabena Dwamena on a three-year contract,” the club said in an official statement.
“The midfielder joins the Mauves following a three-year spell with Sunyani Aston Villa, where he developed and established himself as a promising young talent.”
The signing forms part of Medeama’s preparations for the new campaign as the reigning Ghana Premier League champions look to build a squad capable of competing strongly on both domestic and continental fronts.
Medeama also welcomed the youngster to Tarkwa and wished him success as he begins a new chapter of his career with the champions.

The three-year agreement gives Dwamena the opportunity to develop further under the champions while providing Medeama with another option in the centre of midfield as they prepare for the demands of the 2026/27 season.
