Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi has been granted time off by the French champions until the start of the upcoming international break.
The decision was reportedly reached through an agreement between the Moroccan international, head coach Luis Enrique and the club’s sporting management, allowing the right-back some time away from competitive action.
As a result, Hakimi will not be available for PSG’s weekend fixture against ESTAC Troyes in Ligue 1, scheduled for Saturday, November 7.
The decision comes as PSG manage the workload of one of their most important players, with Hakimi having played a significant role in the club’s campaign.
The former Real Madrid and Inter Milan defender is expected to return to action after the international break, having been given permission to take a short period of rest.
