Morocco will head into their two AFCON 2027 qualifying matches against Niger without several important players. Ismaël Saibari, Azzedine Ounahi, Ayoub El Kaabi, Soufiane Rahimi, Chadi Riad and Hamza Igamane all miss the squad for the fixtures scheduled for November 13 and 17.
Head coach Walid Regragui has also left out Amine Harit, Amine Adli and Sofyan Amrabat. In addition, Chemsdine Talbi and Zakaria El Ouahdi will not join the Atlas Lions for this international break, leaving Morocco without several familiar faces as they prepare for the double-header.
Nevertheless, Morocco remain in a strong position at the top of their qualifying group with six points from two matches. The Atlas Lions have scored four goals without conceding and will look to maintain that record against Niger. Morocco will host the first leg on November 13 at 9:00 PM before travelling for the return fixture on November 17, also at 9:00 PM.
