Africa has four representatives among the nominees for the 2026 Ballon d’Or Men’s Young Talent of the Year award, with Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire and Algeria all featuring on the prestigious shortlist.
Morocco’s Ayyoub Bouaddi, Côte d’Ivoire’s Yan Diomandé and Algeria’s Ibrahim Maza are among the 10 players nominated for the award, which recognises outstanding young football talent.
The shortlist also includes highly rated European youngsters Kerim Alajbegović of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pau Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal of Spain, Lennart Karl of Germany, Éli Junior Kroupi and Warren Zaïre-Emery of France, and Johan Manzambi of Switzerland.
