Algeria Arrives in Tizi Ouzou for Niger Friendly

The Algerian national soccer team arrived in the province of Tizi Ouzou in preparation for its friendly match against the Niger national team, scheduled for today, Tuesday, at the stadium named after the late mujahid Hussein Ait Ahmed.

The “Les Verts” delegation was welcomed at the Lala Khadija Hotel by the governor of the province, Aboubakr al-Sadiq Bosta, along with members of the provincial security committee and the director of youth and sports.

Mohamed Al-Amin Amoura and his teammates spent the night in Tizi Ouzou in preparation for the match against Niger.

Led by their Algerian coach, Nabil Ngiz, the match will begin at 6:00 p.m.

This friendly match will mark the conclusion of the national team’s training camp during the international break at the end of September and beginning of October.

The “Green Eagles” played two official matches as part of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The first was against Zambia in Tizi Ouzou, which Coach Ibrahim Hamdani’s squad won 3–1.

They then traveled to Bujumbura, where they faced the Burundi national team and narrowly avoided defeat by securing a draw in the second half (2–2).

It is worth noting that the head coach will make several changes to the starting lineup in order to evaluate all the players he has called up.
