André Ayew Backs Mohammed Kudus to Reach the Top – ‘He’s Got Everything’

Former Black Stars captain André Ayew has backed Ghana star Mohammed Kudus to reach the highest level of world football, insisting the talented midfielder has all the qualities needed to become a player of the calibre of Mohamed Salah.

Ayew believes Kudus possesses the ability to compete for places at Europe’s biggest clubs, including Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal, provided he continues to develop and manages his fitness carefully.

“He’s got everything to be at the top,” André said when discussing Kudus’ potential to become one of the leading African players in world football.

Kudus has already established himself as one of Ghana’s most prominent footballers after making a name for himself in Europe with Ajax before earning a move to the Premier League.

The 25 year old has since demonstrated his quality at the highest level, combining technical ability, strength, pace and versatility to operate in several attacking and midfield positions.

For André, however, Kudus’ next step is not simply about talent. The former captain believes the Ghanaian must also be patient with his recovery from injuries and take proper care of his body.

“He just needs to take his time to get back from injuries properly and take care of himself, healthwise,” Ayew explained.

Kudus has endured injury setbacks during his career, making his physical condition an important factor as he seeks to establish himself among the elite.

Ayew is nevertheless convinced that the Ghanaian has the ability to play for any of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

“In my opinion, he is good enough to be in clubs like Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal etc,” he said.

The comparison with Salah is particularly significant given the Egyptian’s status as one of the finest African players of his generation. Salah has enjoyed a remarkable career at Liverpool, winning major domestic and European trophies while consistently producing elite numbers.

Ayew believes Kudus can aspire to a similar level, although he stressed the importance of allowing the Ghanaian to develop at his own pace.

The endorsement from one of Ghana’s most experienced footballers will further raise expectations around Kudus, who remains one of the country’s biggest hopes for the future.

With his talent already established, the challenge now is for Kudus to maintain his fitness, continue improving and take the opportunities that come his way.

For André Ayew, there is little doubt about the ceiling of Ghana’s midfield star.
