Tanzanian referee Ahmed Ally Arajiga has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate the CAF Champions League second preliminary round first-leg encounter between Sierra Leone’s Star Sport Academy and Moroccan giants RS Berkane.
The match is scheduled for Friday, October 17, at the Paynesville-Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Liberia, with kick-off set for 16:00 GMT.
Arajiga will take charge of the crucial continental fixture as Star Sport Academy seek to secure a positive result at home against the experienced Moroccan side.
The appointment adds a Tanzanian presence to a highly anticipated tie as both clubs begin their battle for a place in the next stage of Africa’s premier club competition.
