Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that the end of his legendary career could arrive sooner than expected. At 41, the Portuguese superstar told Vogue that the upcoming season could mark the final chapter of his playing career.
With his contract at Al-Nassr set to expire in a year, Ronaldo’s comments also appear to end speculation about a possible run to Euro 2028.
“This is probably my last year of my career, and I want to leave an indelible mark,” Ronaldo said. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner explained that he has already planned his life after football and wants to explore other activities, travel more and enjoy padel. After 25 years at the highest level and countless sacrifices, Ronaldo now appears ready to prepare for life beyond the pitch.
