Simba SC manager Didier Gomes discusses CAF Champions league clash against Al Ahly as both teams meet next Tuesday.

Both Simba and Al Ahly have won their first group stages games with the Red Devils beating Sudan champions Al-Merrikh (3-0) while Lions conquered AS Vita Club in a perfect away trip (0-1).

They will be looking now for the first place in Group A on Tuesday and Didier Gomes said he has confidence in his players as he urges them to enjoy the game against Al Ahly.

“I have great confidence in my players and know that the team has very good potential,” the former Ismaily manager told OnTime Sports.

“I hope there will be a large number of fans in the Al Ahly match, because it will be a great encounter.

“I asked the players to enjoy the game against Al Ahly and give their best,” he added.
