Enyimba continued to dominate proceedings and doubled their advantage in the 29th minute when Damian Chibueze found the back of the net.

The hosts added a third goal seven minutes later, with Idris Abubakar scoring in the 36th minute to give Enyimba a commanding 3-0 lead before the break.

Shooting Stars responded in the 76th minute when Mustapha Adams Agba’a pulled one back, giving the visitors a brief lifeline.

However, Enyimba remained in control despite the late pressure.
