Barau FC have extended their winless run in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) to four consecutive matches following a stalemate at the Bako Kontagora Stadium.
The Kano-based side were unable to secure maximum points in front of their home supporters, settling for a share of the spoils in a result that further highlights their recent struggle to turn performances into victories.
The latest draw means Barau FC have now gone four matches without recording a win, although they have managed to avoid defeat during that period.
Their inability to convert draws into victories could become a concern as the NPFL campaign progresses, particularly with the growing importance of consistency in the race for a respectable league position.
Playing at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Barau FC would have been hoping to capitalise on home advantage and return to winning ways, but they had to settle for another point.
The result leaves the club with the task of rediscovering their winning mentality and improving their effectiveness in subsequent fixtures.
Barau FC will now turn their attention to their next NPFL assignment, where they will be desperate to end their four-match winless streak and return to winning ways.
