FKF Cup: Police FC reach final after Bandari win

Kenya Police FC have qualified for the Mozzart Bet Cup final after defeating Bandari FC 5–3 on penalties following a goalless draw on Saturday, 16th May 2026, at Nyayo National Stadium.

The match kicked off at 3:45 p.m. under cool weather conditions that provided a favourable atmosphere for the encounter. Both teams displayed a strong performance in the first half, with neither side able to find the back of the net.

After the break, Kenya Police FC made three substitutions, introducing Marvin Nabwire, Edward Omondi and Samuel Quansah in a tactical move aimed at injecting fresh energy into the squad.

In the 70th minute, Police FC made another substitution, bringing in Clinton Kinanga as Erick Zakayo was rested. Despite six minutes of added time, both teams remained goalless, forcing the match into a penalty shootout, where Kenya Police FC emerged victorious with a 5–3 win.
