Nigeria’s Shooting Stars begin their 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup campaign on Saturday as they take on Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien in the first leg of their preliminary-round tie.
The encounter is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, with kick-off at 5:00pm Nigerian time at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
The Oluyole Warriors will be looking to make home advantage count against a CS Sfaxien side with considerable experience on the African continent.
The winner over the two legs will advance to the second preliminary round, where they will face the winner between AF Amadou Diallo of CΓ΄te d’Ivoire and East End Lions of Sierra Leone.
