The French Football Federation has unveiled the first members of Zinedine Zidane’s coaching staff as the new France head coach prepares to begin his tenure.
Les Bleus will play Turkey on September 25, Belgium on September 28 and Italy on October 2, giving Zidane a major challenge from the start. Fabien Barthez will return to the France setup as goalkeeping coach, while David Bettoni will reunite with Zidane as an assistant after working alongside him at Real Madrid. Hamidou Msaidie will also serve as an assistant, while Grégory Dupont will advise on strategy and performance and Stéphane Plancque will oversee scouting. Farid Tabet and Clément Ybert will handle video analysis.
The FFF will complete and officially present the entire staff at the beginning of September. For now, the confirmed members are:
