Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have appointed Stanley Menzo as the club’s new Technical Director, marking a fresh chapter in the career of the former goalkeeper and coach.
The appointment sees Menzo swap Suriname for Ghana as he takes up a key strategic role with the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the new season. The Dutch-Surinamese football icon is expected to play a major role in shaping the club’s technical direction, player development structures and overall football philosophy.
Menzo arrives in Kumasi with extensive experience both on and off the pitch. Widely regarded as one of the most respected figures in Dutch and Surinamese football, he has built an impressive coaching and management résumé over the years.
His managerial career has included spells with FC Volendam in the Netherlands, Ajax Cape Town in South Africa, and Chinese side Beijing Guoan.
