Saturday May 30, 2026

  • Kitara vs SC Villa – Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru 3pm

Following an appeal from Kitara, Fufa has changed the match day venue for the Stanbic Uganda Cup final from Kadiba to Njeru.

The FA had earlier announced SC Villa’s home ground, Kadiba as the host venue but Kitara and the neutrals saw it as advantaging Villa since the confirmation came later after the two finalists had been known.

“This decision has been taken in the interest of fair-play and to ensure a neutral match environment for both finalists” a letter signed by Shawn Mubiru, FUFA competitions director read in part.

There has also been changes in kick off times from 4pm to 3pm and the fees from 20,000/= to 10,000/= but dates remain unchanged.

Kitara who eliminated holders Vipers in the semis will look to win their second Uganda Cup title in three years while Villa, on nine trophies want a win to join record winners KCCA and Express who are on 10.
