FUFA has secured four places for Ugandan women coaches on the CAF B Coaching Course through FIFA’s Women’s Football Development Programme – Coach Education Scholarships for the 2026 intake.
The initiative sits under FUFA’s women’s football strategy of improving the quality and increasing the number of qualified women coaches in Uganda.
Following FIFA’s open declaration of the availability of the scholarships to its Member Associations, FUFA initiated the application process, identified, prepared and submitted Uganda’s candidates. The applications were considered and approved by FIFA.
The four beneficiaries are currently undertaking the course at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru. They are Nakiguba Cissy Gaudensia of the Women National Teams, Nabulobi Mercy of Sparta 09 Academy, Namugenyi Dorothy of URA FC Juniors, and Birungi Sarah of Kikajjo Stars Sports Academy.
