Gambia FA General Manager completes FIFA Course

The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) is delighted to announce that the General Manager of the National Teams, Mr. Ousman ‘Cho’ Drammeh, has successfully completed the hybrid program of the FIFA Campus Essential Course for National Team Managers.

The comprehensive program, conducted by FIFA’s education partner, the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), is designed to enhance the strategic understanding of the National Team Manager’s role. It clarifies the scope, responsibilities, and strategic importance of the position within the modern football ecosystem.

Participants completed a series of intensive self-paced and virtual online modules over several weeks. The program concluded with a high-level on-site module held at the prestigious FIFA Campus in Rabat, Morocco.

Mr. Drammeh was specifically selected by the GFF to represent The Gambia, with his participation and travel to Morocco fully sponsored by the GFF (Football House).

In a significant development for African football administration, Mr. Drammeh was also elected—unopposed—as the President of the newly formed African National Team Managers Association (ANTMA).

The election took place in Rabat at the conclusion of the FIFA Campus program. ANTMA has been established to formalize, standardize, and further develop the profession of National Team Management across the African continent, ensuring that administrators are equipped with the latest strategic and operational expertise.

“This achievement is not just a personal milestone but a testament to the GFF’s commitment to professionalizing every aspect of our national team operations. Mr. Drammeh’s leadership in the continental association will undoubtedly elevate the profile of Gambian football administration,” General Secretary Lamin M. Jassey said.
