Dreams FC dealt a crushing blow to the title hopes of Bibiani Gold Stars after recording a commanding 3-1 victory at the Tuba Astro Turf.
GoldStars entered the fixture hoping to keep pressure on league leaders Medeama, but Dreams FC produced one of their finest performances of the season to halt those ambitions immediately.
The home side were clinical in transition and punished GoldStars repeatedly with sharp attacking football. The defeat left GoldStars stranded on 57 points and effectively ended their chase for the league crown after Medeama’s victory over Heart of Lions.
Dreams FC meanwhile climbed to 49 points and boosted their own hopes of a strong finish heading into the final day.
