Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojša Kapor believes the club’s consecutive victories are creating a positive atmosphere within the team, but he has urged his players to remain calm and manage their emotions as they continue their campaign in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.
The Phobian secured another important victory over Basake Holy Stars in their Matchday 8 encounter, extending their winning momentum and strengthening confidence within the squad.
Speaking after the game, Kapor highlighted the importance of the recent results in building a positive mindset among his players, while emphasising the need to maintain composure and make smart decisions during matches.
“Victories are building positive energy. We are very positive, and you can feel it on the ground,” Kapor said.
However, the Hearts of Oak coach cautioned his players against allowing their growing confidence to affect their judgement, stressing that emotional control would be crucial to sustaining their progress.
“But we must also learn to stay calm, manage our emotions, and always find ways to put things in our favour,” he added.
Kapor’s comments underline his focus on maintaining the right mentality as Hearts of Oak seek to build consistency and establish themselves among the contenders in the league.
With the league campaign continuing, Kapor will be hoping his players can carry their improved confidence into their upcoming fixtures and turn their recent winning run into sustained success.
