Ghana U20 winger Hakim Sulemana will not be joining Scottish Premiership side St Mirren after negotiations over a proposed move broke down.
The 21-year-old had been expected to complete a free transfer to the Saints, but the deal has now fallen through, ending speculation over his potential switch to Scotland.
St Mirren head coach Craig McLeish confirmed the collapse of the transfer, revealing that the club and the player were unable to reach an agreement during negotiations.
With Sulemana’s arrival now off the table, St Mirren have shifted their focus to alternative transfer targets as they continue preparations for the new season.
The failed move means Sulemana remains available to explore other opportunities as he looks to secure the next chapter of his career after representing Ghana at youth level.
