Hansi Flick has strongly backed Lamine Yamal to win the next Ballon d’Or after Barcelona’s 5-1 Champions League victory over Feyenoord. The German coach praised the young winger’s exceptional qualities and insisted that he deserves the award.

Flick also expressed his disappointment over Raphinha and Pedri missing from the 30-player shortlist. “They should both be on that list. They are fantastic and would deserve it,” he said.
