GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum says Ghana is determined to make a strong start to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Twum stressed the importance of beginning the qualifying campaign positively, particularly after Ghana’s difficult start to the previous AFCON qualifying series.
“We want to start well. It is always important to start well in the qualifiers,” Twum said.
He acknowledged that Ghana failed to make the desired start in the last edition of the qualifiers but said the Black Stars are focused on doing better this time around.
“We did not start well in the last edition of the AFCON qualifiers, but we want to do well this time around,” he added.
The Black Stars will therefore be aiming to set the tone early in their 2027 AFCON qualifying campaign as they seek to secure a place at the tournament.
