Ipswich Set to Complete Abdoul Ouattara Signing From Strasbourg

Ipswich Town are set to complete the signing of Ivory Coast-born defender and midfielder Abdoul Ouattara from French side Strasbourg.

The 20-year-old has emerged as a versatile option, capable of operating at right-back and in midfield. Reports indicate that Ipswich have agreed a deal worth around €20 million for the player.

Ouattara, who was born in Ivory Coast and developed in Strasbourg’s academy, has established himself as part of the French club’s senior setup. His ability to play in multiple positions has made him an attractive addition for Ipswich as they continue to reshape their squad.

The transfer represents a significant investment in the young Ivorian, with Ipswich moving to secure his services as they look to build a squad capable of competing at a higher level.

Ouattara’s versatility is expected to be one of his biggest assets at Portman Road, with his experience at both full-back and further forward offering the club tactical flexibility.

The deal is now close to completion, with Ipswich expected to finalise the transfer in the coming days.
