Ismaël Saibari will have to wait before making his Bayern Munich debut. The Moroccan striker, who joined PSV Eindhoven for €55 million this summer, stayed in Germany while Vincent Kompany’s squad traveled to Asia for pre-season.
Saibari continues to train individually at Bayern’s training center. Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl and Jamal Musiala have also remained in Germany to work on their fitness. As a result, Saibari will miss Bayern’s upcoming friendlies against Jeju SK and Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old could finally make his debut against RB Leipzig on August 15. Bayern will hope the former PSV player can quickly reach full fitness and join the squad ahead of the new season.
