Bayern Munich has taken a major step toward signing Moroccan international Ismaël Saibari. After several weeks of interest, the German club has now reached an agreement with the PSV Eindhoven star over a contract running until 2030. The Bavarian giants now focus on finalizing negotiations with PSV to complete the transfer.
Ismaël Saibari attracted strong attention after an outstanding season in the Netherlands. The 25-year-old midfielder scored 19 goals and delivered 9 assists in 37 matches for PSV Eindhoven, performances that helped him win the Eredivisie Player of the Season award. PSG also monitored his situation in recent months, but Bayern Munich moved fastest and pushed ahead in the race for his signature.
Saibari continues to shine with Morocco as well. On Tuesday evening, he scored twice in the Atlas Lions’ 4-0 victory over Madagascar during a World Cup 2026 preparation match. PSV Eindhoven still expects a significant transfer fee for the Moroccan international, whose contract with the Dutch club runs until 2029.
