Ivory Coast: CAF Approves All Six Stadiums

This is a true triumph for Ivorian soccer as the African Football Confederation (CAF) has officially certified all six modern stadiums built and renovated by the Ivorian government.

This decision confirms Ivory Coast status as a model student in terms of sports infrastructure on the continent.

This comprehensive certification highlights a network of elite stadiums located throughout the country.

Among the certified gems are the prestigious Alassane-Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe and the legendary Félix-Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, along with the Stade de la Paix in Bouake, the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo, the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro, and the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San-Pedro.

Thanks to this massive government investment and the full endorsement of African soccer’s governing body, Ivory Coast has reaffirmed its ability to host major international matches under optimal conditions.

The country thus remains one of the few in the region capable of providing six stadiums that fully comply with strict international standards.
