The official was found guilty of serious misconduct, including approaching club officials with promises of victory in exchange for money or threatening defeats if his demands were not met.
The case came to light thanks to the courage of Real FC, whose General Secretary reported the actions of Brou Eba Serges. A crucial audio recording submitted to the Central Referees Commission provided clear evidence of attempted blackmail, leaving no doubt about the severity of the violations.
The federation acted decisively, enforcing a permanent ban from refereeing along with a strict prohibition on any contact with match officials.
