Former immediate Express coach Jimmy Kintu has been appointed by URA as their head coach replacing Hussein Mbalangu whose contract wasn’t renewed.
The four-time league champions had their worst season in history finishing 11th on the premier league table with 31 points and just five wins in 30 league matches.
“URA FC is delighted to welcome Jimmy Kintu Mwera as Head Coach,” a club statement read.
“A CAF A Licensed tactician with a proven track record in player development and modern football, Kintu joins the Tax Collectors ready for the challenge ahead.”
Joining him on the technical bench is Godfrey Magoba (Christian), who has been appointed First Assistant Coach on a two-year renewable contract.
The duo arrives from Express FC, where they served in the same respective roles, bringing with them a wealth of experience, modern coaching expertise, and a proven track record in player development and team management.
Kintu impressed during his time at Express which he joined from Calvary.
